The history of Union Station can be traced back to 1858. It is by far the most important transportation hub in the city and an icon for Toronto. Phoenix Restoration has been involved in the revitalization of Union Station since the beginning of the project in 2014 and continues to be an integral player in its completion. Notably, Phoenix has restored the Great Hall interior, which includes its original historical light fixtures, as well as the exterior masonry on the East Wing. Restoration and fabrication of replicate millwork including windows and doors were done in house at our plant. Restoration work was also performed on the historic cathedral windows and original steel. Zumbro stone cleaning, fabrication, installation and various repairs were done under the direction of a conservator.
